Established FuNNeX Asset Management Inc. to manage a number of separate client focused equity portfolios as well as mutual funds and hedge funds for clients mainly based in Japan, UK and US.

Served as a fund manager and Managing Director in charge of the Japanese equity fund management team. The clients included pension funds, financial institutions, mutual funds and segregated accounts in Japan, US, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Returned to Tokyo to assume international investment strategy analysis responsibilities.

Seconded to Nikko Research Center’s London office as a strategist and provided analysis and commentary on global macro and investment strategy issues, producing reports and carrying out analysis.
